"Club Women - The Heartbeat of Windsor"

The Woman's Club of Windsor was founded in May 1930.  Our goals in 1930 were the same as today, to promote the civic, cultural, educational and social welfare of our community, to join with other club women to make a difference outside of our community and to provide fellowship for our members.

"Living the Volunteer Spirit"

GFWC clubs and clubwomen are the fabric that binds not only the Federation, but the communities in which they live and work. By Living the Volunteer Spirit, GFWC clubwomen transform lives each day, not simply with monetary donations, but with hands-on tangible projects that provide immediate impact. With a grassroots approach that often thinks locally but impacts globally, GFWC, its clubs and members remain committed to serving as a force for global good, as it has done since its formation 128 years ago.

General Federation of Women's Clubs

The Woman's Club of Windsor is part of the Southside District of the General Federation of Women's Clubs of Virginia and of The General Federation of Women’s Clubs which is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.

Our Mission

As part of one of the oldest and largest volunteer organizations we dedicate ourselves to serving the needs of our community. We are a non-profit organization, a sisterhood, and proud to be in the General Federation of Woman's Clubs.
